How we charge

1) Upfront fee - $1,500.00 + GST

 

This provides you the following services

 

i. Initial discussion to ascertain your performance levels, ambitions and desired future direction.

 

ii. Meeting to gain a greater understanding of your current academic results and rowing credentials, for positioning with the right USA Universities.

 

iii. Preparation of a draft profile containing your key metrics which will be assessed at a high level by the USA University coaches, as to suitability.

 

iv. Initial discussions with the "best fit" USA Universities to ascertain their appetite for progressing you as a candidate to the next stage (done by Row2USA only).

 

v. Reporting results back to you of discussions with the USA Universities, as to their appetite to progress you to the next stage.

 

vi. If the discussions are positive and the Universities want to progress you to the next stage, finalise your Profile and any additional information they need, and set up times and dates for Video meetings between you Row2USA and the interested Universities.

 

vii. Document the meetings and set out a plan for next steps.

viii. If, for whatever reason (academic, rowing or other), there are no U.S. Universities willing to progress discussions to the next stage, the process ends here.  

 

2) Completion fee:

 

This will be based on the number of hours involved in progressing your application with the interested Universities though to finalisation. Some candidates are accepted quickly but some can take additional time depending on;

 

i. both parties considering their options after the discussions and offers made

 

ii. further meetings between the candidate and the Universities to clarify issues (can be several meetings, as issues are resolved, for example, the size of the scholarship on offer).

 

iii. Whether or not the University wants to fly the candidate to the USA to meet face to face (and the organisation surrounding that movement).

 

iv. If the candidate is successful and is appointed to join the Universities Rowing Program in the USA, then the final fee will be based on the number of hours spent to get it to finalization stage.

 

v. If the candidate is unsuccessful, they will be charged for the time spent to get to the decision point.
